Summer in The City

re-AW24’s season-defining styles radiate modernity and sophistication, capturing the heritage and timeless elegance of Italy’s mid-century architecture. With a focus on two of the season’s hero silhouettes – the day-to-night Cristi mules and the timeless Audrey mini handbag – we invited Jamaica-born, Milan-based writer, tastemaker and founder of All the Pretty Birds blog, Tamu McPherson to show us how she’d style them for sun-filled days in the city.

The Cristi mules, an all-new silhouette for Pre-AW24, are among the season’s most coveted styles. Poised upon a slim, 70mm heel and constructed from smooth patent leather with a tactile mesh slit along the V-cut vamp, these ice-white slip-on shoes cleverly play with contrasting materials. Meanwhile, our signature Audrey mini is updated in a feminine shade of deep blush. Streamlined yet rich in detail, the vintage-inspired top-handle design is complete with an optional chain shoulder strap.

With a distinctive flair and eye for colour, Tamu pairs Cristi’s sharp silhouette with a striking floral pencil skirt, drawing the eye to the shoe’s elongated shape. Against a contrasting black crop top, the Audrey mini exudes an effortless charm with its soft hue, adding another dimension to the look.
